Simple A-Z for clients purchasing through MRI Overseas Property

After finding the current investment or lifestyle property for our clients they will move through the following stages:
  • Once you have found the right property whilst in the region of your choice you will be asked to sign an Offer and Reservation (O&R) Form. At this stage you will pay the agreed deposit required by the developer / vendor to take this property off the market in your name.
  • Within one week of returning from your inspection trip you will be contacted by the First Contact Team who will guide you through the early part of your purchase and invite you to subscribe to the LIFEtime Aftersales Membership. This contact will be your most valuable at this early stage with the responsibility to guide you through the contract and deposit payment.
  • Within 7 - 10 days of returning from your inspection trip you should expect to receive a copy of your contract from your appointed legal representative (*) The First Contact Team will confirm you have all the relevant details.
  • You should be prepared to pay your full deposit in keeping with the terms of your Offer & Reservation Form which is normally 30 days from signing of the O&R Form.
  • Once you have made the transfer for your first payment you should fax or email a copy of the relevant transfer confirmation to your contact in the First Contact Team who will make sure your purchase and payment are correctly registered with the lawyer and the developer.
  • At this stage you will be passed to the Regional Coordination Team who will contact you first by email to outline their full role and then touch base with you every six weeks throughout the build time of your property to make sure all you questions and queries are answered in a timely fashion, and make sure you have all the necessary contacts and updates you need.
  • The Global Home Services Team will be in touch with you at the appropriate time to arrange all the finer details of the property from furniture to insurance.
  • As you approach completion you will be notified by your appointed legal representative of exact dates. You should notify your Regional Coordinator immediately who will then liaise with the Local Aftersales Team on your behalf regarding all the issues relating to taking ownership of your property.
* Should this be different for your purchase you will be informed so by your First Contact Team.
